Can there be a union or
melding of Christianity (light) and Islam (darkness)?

Chrislam began in Nigeria in the 1980s, and Chrislamic ideas have spread throughout much of the world. The essential concept of Chrislam is that Christianity and Islam are compatible, that one can be a Christian and a Muslim at the same time. Chrislam is not an actual religion, but rather is a blurring of the differences and distinctions between Christianity and Islam in an attempt to conceive what will become the “One World Religion” of Revelations.

Advocates of Chrislam like to point out that Jesus is mentioned 25 times in the Qur’an, and that Christianity and Islam having similar teachings on morals and ethics. They feel that if the two largest monotheistic religions to unite and the unification will bring about world peace.

While the term “Chrislam” is currently a major buzz word in almost all of the various religious and secular media there is little understanding of the doctrine upon which it is based. Right now what people need to understand what concessions “Christian” denominations and Churches are goint to have to make in order for there to be a “unification” of Christianity with Islam (note I did not say a unification of Islam with Christianity). There is grave danger at the end of this road of appeasement.

What this will require of these denominations and Churches is a renouncing of the basic principles of the Christian Faith and a virtual surrendering to Islam. The Islamic community, locally and internationally, are more than open for Christians to open up their facilities to Muslims. But you can be sure that it will not be the other way around. We will not see mosques placing Bibles within their facilities nor opening up their facilities to Christians, until those advocates of Chrislam swears allegiance to Islam and Allah. This is because it falls within the overall strategy of islamification. The Qur’an maintains that Allah is the only God and that He is sovereign over the entire earth. Hence, He is sovereign over churches and their facilities. It therefore only makes sense that the worship of Allah, as taught in the Qur’an, would slowly extend into these facilities. The end-game, of course, is that churches would transform their doctrines and theologies to conform to Islam. The most crucial doctrine of the Christian faith is rejected in Islam. As a result, the two religions are absolutely not compatible.

Christian doctrines that would have to be set aside:

  • The doctrin of the Trinity
  • The doctrine of the hypostatic union of Christ—where Jesus is fully God and fully Man, two natures in one person
  • That Jesus was the Son of God
  • The virgin birth
  • That Jesus died on the cross to redeem all mankind
  • Jesus was not crucified and His blood has no special significance
  • The doctrine of salvation by faith—that entrance into Heaven is based upon grace and not by personal merit.

Islam adamantly rejects the deity of Christ. The Qur’an declares the idea that Jesus is God to be blasphemy (5:17). Belief in the deity of Christ is considered shirk “filth” to Muslims. Further, Islam denies the death of Christ on the cross (4:157-158).

Chrislam corresponds to the strategy of the Muslim Brotherhood. A senior member of the Muslim Brotherhood, for example, has written: “The ikhwan [Brotherhood] must understand that their work in America is a kind of grand Jihad in eliminating and destroying the Western civilization from within and ‘sabotaging’ its miserable house by their hands and the hands of the believers so that it is eliminated and God’s religion is made victorious over all other religions.” Hence, this broadly defined strategy sees multi-culturalism and religious pluralism as merely a means to an end. The end is the triumph of Islam over all other religions.

The Christians that are embracing “Chrislam” have taken the position that all doctrine is negotiable and therefore the opening up their facilities to Muslims makes good sense. This attitude, known as theological liberalism, entered the Church in the eighteenth century during the Age of the Enlightenment. Now in the twentieth century it has incorporated the philosophies of existentialism into its understanding of Christianity, accordingly it’s mantra has become unity through and with diversity.

Within the walls of these “churches’ all that truly matters is lifestyle: love, peace, harmony, non-judgmentalism, and the like. Today they even embraced homosexuality as a legitimate lifestyle choice, and they are typically pro-choice—that is, they affirm the practice of abortion for women and wish to keep it legal. It only stands to reason that they would now open their churches to Islam, but that will require a serious adjustment in their liberalistic doctrine:

Precepts of Islam that will slowly be integrated into ‘chrislam’ doctrine:

  • Sharia Law will be the only law that is recognized
  • Islam says that all homosexuals must die
  • A woman who has an affair must be put to death
  • Sharia law gives a Muslim man authority to take any (non-Muslin) woman as a sex slave, and it is not consider to be an affair
  •  All women are considered as second class.
  • Any cross or the emblems of any cross must be removed or taken down
  • Any references to the crucifixion, the blood of Jesus, and salvation by faith must be removed.
  • All Jews, Christians and anyone who will not convert to Islam must be killed, and any who do convert will have the status as a ‘Dhimmitude’
  • For their Mahidi (Messiah) to return there must be Islamic Caliphate (Islamic world wide government and religion)
  • Upon the return of their Mahidi, Jesus will also return, not as the Messiah but as a prophet and He will renounce Christianity, and demand the destruction of all crosses

Yet, many churches maintain that doctrine is important. It is neither negotiable nor inconvenient. It is that which defines the Christian faith. Historically, this has been the posture of the church since its inception. Jesus Christ declared: “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me” (John 14:6). The Apostle Peter added: “Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved” (Acts 4:12).

In the early church, Christians were thrown to the lions because they refused to let go of fundamental Christian dogma, others were crucified, and in medieval Europe, Christians were burned at the stake due to their refusal to recant. It is, as the writer to the Hebrews explained: “All these people were still living by faith when they died…they were longing for a better country—a heavenly one. Therefore God is not ashamed to be called their God, for he has prepared a city for them” (Hebrews 11:13, 16). Accordingly, for the church the notion of Chrislam is a spiritual atrocity of the first order.

Yes, Christians are called upon to love all people, including their enemies. But they are also called upon to love God. And loving God requires that He be worshipped aright. Opening up churches to Muslims so that they can worship Allah in a way that reflects Islamic teachings are to disgrace Jesus Christ. It must not be done.

Either Chrislam will ultimately fail or Christianity will become an outlaw religion because Christianity and Islam are diametrically opposed on the most important of issues – the identity of Jesus Christ. True Christianity declares Jesus to be God incarnated in human form. For Christians, the deity of Christ is a non-negotiable, for without His deity, Jesus’ death on the cross would not have been sufficient to be the atoning sacrifice for the sins of the entire world.

Islam teaches that when the prophet “Isa” and the Mahidi return Jesus will also be with them, but he will be a Lieutenant for the Mahidi. Islam teaches that Jesus will openly state that he has been accepted by the Mahidi, that Christianity is a false religion, that he did not die on the cross, and that there is no salvation in his name or thorough his blood. Islam teachs that Jesus will proclaim that he will kill all Jews and Christians who will not convert to Islam. Left unchecked and not challenged with the truth “Chrislam” will be a wedge of destruction that the Muslim Brotherhood and other terrorist groups in the U.S. will use to bring about the destruction of our way of life.

  • 2nd Corinthians 6:14-17 Stop forming inappropriate relationships with unbelievers. Can right and wrong be partners? Can light have anything in common with darkness? Can Christ agree with the devil? Can a believer share life with an unbeliever? Can God’s temple contain false gods? Clearly, we are the temple of the living God. As God said, “I will live and walk among them. I will be their God, and they will be my people.” The Lord says, “Get away from unbelievers. Separate yourselves from them. Have nothing to do with anything unclean. Then I will welcome you.”

The rule of law that we now enjoy will become a thing of the past and our nation as we know it will cease to exist. “Chrislam” is a cancer that if it is not stopped will drive the true Church of Jesus Christ underground. At the present time 57% of those who say they are Evangelical Christians have either already embraced “chrislam” and say that they are planning on following this recent trend within their denomination..

This nation was founded upon the principles of Christianity and this new doctrine of demons spawned in the very belly of hell itself called “chrislam” will have to directly oppose those principles for any Muslim to accept or agree with it. True Christianity is now in a fight for it’s very survival, and all those who boldly proclaim that Jesus is their savior and Lord must take a stand against this apostate heretical doctrine that will deny that Jesus is the Son of God, the true Messiah, and that He is the one who purchased our salvation by His sacrifice upon the cross.
